Flawless Skin Can Be Yours Elminate Acne Scars And Adult Acne

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009
Paloma Duvil asked:

Adult acne and face bumps can be eliminated. It seems that as a child growing up in the United Kingdom that all of my friends, regardless of where they were from; Essex, London, or Sussex had bad skin at one point or another in their lives. This encouraged me to learn more about dermatology during my studies at the university. What I learned as I begin seeing more and more clients who suffered from adult acne was that adult acne, pimples, blackheads, and inflamed skin were not a curse. Adult Acne can be controlled with proper skin care. Yes, bad skin, if there is such a thing, can be corrected. To be honest, while there are several great acne products on the market there is no one cure all technique or product to cure you from your acne woes. That is why I started writing books, articles, and hosting conferences to help save people from giving up on their skin and resorting to makeup to cover up their natural beauty.

Before, I provide you with tips that will save you money and hours of crying, cursing, and swearing repetitively about your skin I want to share with you some simple facts. Fact number one: Having adult acne does not make you disgusting or ugly. Fact number two: Acne is a natural part of life, regardless if you are a adolescent or adult. Fact number 3: Adult or Teen Acne can occur for several reasons and this is again why I encourage all of my clients not to look for a cure all, but instead to focus on their total body‘s overall health.

Flawless Skin in 30 Days Tip #1

If you want flawless looking skin, look no further than your refrigerator to begin. The things that you place inside of your body are important to combating acne, pimples, zits, and blackheads. Regardless of whether you have acne on your chest or back areas your diet plays an important role in whether you have continuous acne outbreaks or only the occasional spot. The foods that you eat provide your body with essential nutrients that your skin needs to appear its best. Without eating properly then your skin is vulnerable to the attack. Therefore it is important to eat food that is chocked full of vitamins, especially vitamin A, vitamin C, and Vitamin E. You can find these vitamins in several fruits and foods from sweet potatoes, yucca roots, carrots, mangoes, oranges, melons, and fresh berries. While fast food is quick, it can wreak havoc on your skin Most fast foods are full of grease and have had most of their nutrients cooked out by being over fried, over frozen, or over smothered in gravy. If you want to have better skin that has less acne, acne scars, and flare ups within thirty days then maintaining a balanced diet will be essential. Each day make sure that you have at least one glass green tea, at least three glasses of water, and no soft drinks, colas, fruit punches or things with artificial sweeteners. When you feel the urge to drink something sweet, then try your favorite fruit smoothie or vegatable juice. Fruit smoothies and Vegetable drinks will help provide you with the vitamins your skin needs naturally, no pills involved. Nothing to remember, just eat healthy and elminate the fast foods, junk foods, and artificial sweeteners. Don’t say you can’t do it. Yes, you can! And when you do your skin will appear better. If you take baby steps, such as reducing your junk craving to two snacks per day and one cola, the you will see baby results. Your skin will get better in overtime, but not in 30 days. To be honest, unless you start eating a better diet then you will not achieve the results that you want.

Flawless Skin in 30 Days Tip #2

Use natural skincare products to take care of your skin. Just as it cost money to buy clothes if you were going out on the town for one night. It also, cost money to buy products that will help your skin look better for a lifetime. Buying acne products can be overwhelming, because there are so many. However, when it really comes down to buying quality acne products there are only a few products even worth trying. This is because most acne products are latent with chemicals that can cause side effects such as burns and dark spots. Yes, they can eliminate your pimple that popped up overnight, but they can provide you with a red acne scar or acne dark spot on your forehead, chin, or cheek that seems to last a lifetime. That is why I only use natural or organic acne skincare products on my clients and in my family. If you are not into natural products then I still had product recommendation for you that does not contain the benzoyl peroxide. The best fully natural products on the market that has emerged over the past few years is Beauty 4 Ashes. Beauty 4 Ashes Naturally Clear Acne Skin Care products are great because they are used by Hollywood stars and everyday moms. Beauty 4 Ashes acne skin care products tackle all the common skin care issues that you may face from large pores with there “U Big Pore Baby” system to acne dark spots, chest acne, & blackheads with their Naturally Clear Body Beautiful System are available online at www.discoverb4a.com (USA) or www.mybeauty4ashes.com (UK) and in host of other select countries including the United Kingdom, United States www.discoverb4a.com, Canada www.myb4a.com, Australia, France, & Japan. The best part about Beauty 4 Ashes skincare products is that they are made fresh for you and that they include anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredients from all over the world. I recommend and use their products on my clients because they are contain herbs, green teas, honeys, vitamins, and minerals that help your skin to eliminate acne and heal blemishes naturally overtime. Beauty 4 Ashes skin care products are extremely effective, because they focus not just on eliminating acne, but also on helping to create great skin that is free from excessive dryness or heavy oiliness. The best part is that in a recent international customer survey Beauty 4 Ashes was top ranked for helping naturally solve both women and men’s acne issues. The other product that I use on my clients that has proved successful is Dr. Murad’s skin treatment products. Although, these products do contain chemical preservatives they are more effective than most acne treatments because similar to the Beauty 4 Ashes products it uses natural anti-inflammatory ingredients to combat acne and other skin care issues that could be causing your outbreaks. If you want flawless skin in 30 days then try using skin care products that are not loaded with alcohols, peroxides, and chemicals that you can’t pronounce.

Flawless Skin in 30 Days Tip #3:

Reduce your stress levels. Hormones within your body can trigger different reactions, including making your skin more acne prone. This why many adults experience adult acne in the first place. Work stress, Home Stress, & Personal Stress imposed upon oneself can be the main culprit behind your acne. To reduce your stress levels it is important to pick up a hobby. One of the best stress relievers for adults with acne is walking. Walking not only will help your look better in you face, but also in your waist. Walking reduces stress because it gives you time to think things over. Even if you walk only down the block or from the back of a parking lot to the mall entrance this will provide you with time to explore your options over whatever decision you are debating. If you reduce your stress levels you are clearly on your way to eating better, becoming more organized so that you can use your acne products on a daily basis, and discovering flawless skin within 30 days.

Back Acne And Your Treatment Options

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009
Rebecca Kepple asked:

When it comes to the topic of acne, many people focus on the face as the sole culprit. But, the back tends to harbor acne just as often as the face. Back acne, or bacne, can be one of the toughest sorts of acne to fight but that does not mean the treatment is not available to clear your back of acne.

Facial Acne Versus Back Acne

Both ****** acne and back acne are caused by the same clogs in the pores of the skin. When dead skin cells get caught up and cannot flake from the skin, they block the release of oils from the sebaceous glands. With the back skin being thicker than ****** skin, the infection or irritation may be deeper.

The deeper the infection or irritation, the deeper the acne treatment will have to work in order to clear up the acne breakout.

Why is Back Acne So Persistent?

If you have ever faced a breakout of back acne, you know that the rash of bumps seems to take forever to heal. Why? It is all in the skin.

The skin on the face is relatively thin. When acne pops up, the treatment instantly hits the affected area and begins to treat the acne breakout. On the back, however, the skin is much thicker than on the face. This means that the infection causing the acne may be deeper into the layers of the skin than the acne appearing on the face.

Treating Back Acne

Luckily, there are tried and true acne treatments for back acne that work very effectively no matter how deep the root of the acne breakout. In order to get rid of back acne, you need only treat the acne in the same manner as you would treat ****** acne.

Back acne is really no different than ****** acne. The treatment may take longer simply due to the depth of the infection, but all ****** acne and back acne treatments serve the same end.

Back acne can be an embarrassing problem. You no longer have to be afraid to remove your shirt or wear that dress with the low back cut. You can regain your self esteem and clear up that back acne breakout with a ****** acne treatment proven to clear the skin. Why wait to TRY OUT a new method when there are clearly treatments that just plain work?

How To Finally Clear Pimples

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009
Berry E. asked:

Nobody likes pimples. Period. It’s amazing how life chancing a few dots on our faces can be. And, NO, acne isn’t just a “Teen Problem”. Grown folk have bumps they are tired of looking at, too. Everybody wants to know how to clear pimples. So how do we do that?

Oh there are many, many things you can do to clear pimples and have your face smooth as a baby’s bottom. I don’t want to bore you with some long lecture so we are going to hit only the important parts.

Your body needs water! Our bodies are mostly water anyways, so when we are running low on water our body TELLS US. Believe me, our bodies will start malfunctioning and things will go haywire. Acne is one of those problems.

Over washing does not cause acne. I have no idea where that myth started (my mom still thinks that till this day).

Wow, let’s slow down on the oily cosmetics, ladies. No oily make-up. I know you might be saying “easier said than done,” but it will do wonders.

Get some Vitamin E in your system. Vitamin E is great for your outer shell and clear pimples. You skin need V-E, so sprinkle a little in your cereal or something (okay don’t do it quite like that, but you know what I mean).

By the way, an acne issue can also represent problems that are inside of you. Your body could be unbalanced within causing pimples (and the problem inside of you maybe far worse than a few bumps, so keep that in mind).

Don’t pick with you bumps! Yes, I know it feels great to take out your revenge upon those dreaded bumps, but DON’T. I think you already know what happens when you pop pimples and it isn’t pretty. Other than those horrific scars they leave, they can also inflame the skin and breaking you skin cells can sometimes turn 1 bump into 2 or 3. Yup, you heard me…

Come on, keep your skin from being dry. That’s a no brainer. Dry = issues, got it? Throw some lotion or something on it. Our body is mostly water, remember? If we are dry something isn’t right. We can’t clear pimples with dry skin.

Your skin is very sensitive, so my rule is treat your skin like a crazy guy that is staring at you on the subway: if it seems like there is going to be a problem deal with it fast before things get out of hand.

There are many issues that cause skin problems…and they all ****. However, with that said there is a way to make those ugly pimples clear up is a few days. Click here to Say goodbye to acne and clear pimples for good.

Why Acne Creams Don’t Work

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009
Tucker Smith asked:

Even though acne is not subject to one particular age demographic, it is preponderant in young people–at one of the most self-conscious stages of life–their teenage years.  The pharmaceutical corporations have basically jumped at the opportunity to quickly profit in on the struggles of acne that are being faced by many hapless people across the country.  This is why you see hundreds of acne creams on the shelves of supermarkets today.  There’s no doubt that if you go to the nearest pharmacy, you’ll see a flood of acne creams manufactured by pharmaceutical companies.  There are whole sections that are dedicated to the handling of acne breakouts.  It’s no surprise that acne creams are by far the most popular treatment for acne than any other remedy out there.  Even though all of these fancy creams exist, acne still continues to plague those very same people.

I had acne and before I cleared out my skin I was always asking myself “Why is there all of these acne products on the market but none of them seem to do squat about the problem?”  The most little-known answer to this question is that poor hygiene does not completely attribute to acne.  People wash their faces vigorously every day hoping to rid themselves of their acne . But ****** washes are not even the answer to mitigate your acne problem.  The best ways to fighting acne are not acne creams either.  Acne creams may have the illusion of doing an excellent job of taking out the acne and helping the skin remain highly hygienic but in reality, there are tons of clear solutions that people are bypassing. Somebody has to say it: acne cannot be cured by any pharmaceutical company’s product.  Period. Acne creams, despite their ineffectiveness, are still purchased everyday by many Americans who are unconsciously wasting hundreds of dollars each year.  The way to relieve yourself of acne is done not with acne creams or ****** washes, but by natural methods that you should and will take advantage of once you find out about them.

Acne Cure – A Few Simple And Natural Steps To Get Rid Of Acne

Saturday, November 7th, 2009
Irwan Lee asked:

Acne Cure – A Few Simple And Natural Steps To Get Rid Of Acne

Acne is a skin problem that affects most people during puberty when the hormonal changes occur. A male hormone called Testosterone in both men and women, and insulin-like growth factor are the two hormones most closely linked to acne. Testosterone stimulates the sebaceous glands of the skin to enlarge and produce oil called sebum. Too much sebum and dead skin cells often form a plug and block the pores and provide a breeding place for bacteria causing redness, swelling and bulges out from the skin.

Thousands of people from all over the world suffer from acne, the skin disorder that affecting 70 to 95% teenagers during puberty period. Sadly to say this skin disorder not only affecting teenagers but also adults between the age of 20 to 50. Imagine if you suffer this skin order endlessly until your adult life. It cost you a lot from swollen and sore ****** skin, feeling unhappy, gross, depress and less confidence and spending lots of money for skin care product and treatment.

Some people are lucky enough that after passing the puberty cycle the acne problem go away without leaving any scar, but some are so unfortunate left with a deep permanent scar.

Believe me having acne for more than 30 years are far from FUN!

Being Asian living in the tropics, I had larger and more sebaceous glands with thicker epidermis that are prone to acne easily. Highly polluted and dusty air is also another factor that make my skin easily clogged by mixture of excess oil and dirt which cause acne.

I was one amongst the many people who suffered from pimples during my teenage years and suffered from whiteheads, pustules and severe cysts (deep pimples and boils) during my adult life.

In senior high as a typical teenager, I suffered from a hormone imbalance and started having pimples all over my face. It began to worry me as I experience quiet severe acne then. The peer pressure amongst children was very cruel. With no time I began experiencing and living in horror everyday being harassed as a “greaser” and “speckled face” name calling. Little by little I felt stressful and less confidence and asked my parents to seek treatment.

Treatment after treatment seemed endless and lead me nowhere, until my brother who studied in US introduced me with a tetracycline as antibiotics that were recommended by the US dermatologist at that time to cure acne. I started taking tetracycline without knowing what the side effects is. At that time I only concern that the pills helped me to clear the pimples away. Later in life I regretted for taking that so-called wonder drug.

If I knew the side effect, I would rather live with acne and sought other treatment than taking tetracycline. I guess I was one of the generations that got victimized by the pills. Through the year my teeth started experiencing discoloration, leaving overall gray cast in the enamel, accented with darker horizontal lines. It kept me away from wide happy smile as this was a permanent embarrassment to me.

Later in life, it cost me further as my teeth regularly had cavities and need filling and with times the teeth became so brittle and easily breaking off for no reason. If I could turn back the time, I would definitely seek other natural cure for acne rather than taking tetracycline.

The story was not ended here, I was fortunate enough to be able to move to US for my college year. My skin got better as I lived in a sub-tropic California and the four-season state of Ohio.

But again, like the ugly shadow at the age of 22 the breakout returned and followed me around for the next twenty years. Why Me? I even wondered and asked “Mirror, mirror on the wall when will be my acne gone for all?”

I tried different type of acne lotion and ointment from over the counter products. I even tried toothpaste and squeezing out the vitamin E soft caplet, applied them to the swollen acne expecting that they would be drying off and it would sooth the swollen and redness. I even tried the papaya skin mask to no avail (had to be careful that it can only be done within 5 to 8 minutes or my skin would be damaged from the sap of the papaya skin).

I spent lots of money to seek treatment from different beauty salon and dermatologist. When I came back to my country my acne became worst and I start living in nightmare. I had severe acne that affecting all over my face, chin and neck. It was no longer whiteheads or pustules. it was a cyst of deep pimples and boils.

I felt angry, hopeless, and gross. I started seek treatment from a local salon and using a traditional herbal mask. As the boils hurt like hell and swollen, I had no choice and let the dermatologist to cut open the acne and squeeze it out. I watched in horror as acne scars began to accumulate on my face.

Later as the condition worsened I seek treatment from a so-called famous dermatologist specialized in acne treatment, the doctor did the same procedures as the previous beauty salon, cleaned my face, cut open the acne, squeezed it out and sealed the wound using electrocautery. It hurt and smelled like a barbecued meat. I was once again horror as I watched that acne scars became worse and creating deep bean-sized hole, similar to the Chicken pox scar all over my face and chin.

When the acne breakout started to stop, I stopped taking the prescription drugs and it turned out that I was having yet another even worse breakouts.

After a while I felt tired of seeking treatment and taking drugs from a doctor, and I follow one of the doctors that recommended me to start cleansing my face using baby soap and decided to stop taking drugs. I was beginning to worry that I would have to take the same drugs for the rest of my life. It worked wonder for a while but my skin became so dull in appearance.

It took me more than five years to have my smooth, vibrant healthy looking skin back and lots of trial and error to find the natural ways to do it:

First, of course clean your face whenever necessary Wash your face with the left-over tea leaves, or cover your face by steam from the tea leaves in a pale of hot water Make sure your wash your hair regularly Never neither touch nor scratch the acne no matter how hurt and itchy, as the bacteria will harvest on the skin and the area will be filled with more acne Never squeeze or pop up the acne When experiencing breakout never scrub your face, use scrub lotion only when you have no breakout on your face If you need to use ****** products such as lotion or moisturizer making sure it has no alcohol and fragrance content Ladies: avoid using thick make-up Drink lots of water, try avoiding cola Stay away from a second-hand smoke Be Happy and try not to live in stress or depression Exercise regularly. Exercise help reducing elevated insulin that trigger hormone imbalance and assist better blood circulation Take yoga class regularly. Yoga can help you less stress, detoxify and clean the impurities of your body Use an Aromatherapy that also works as Oxygen therapy to enhance skin repair and cell regeneration for a smoother, vibrant and healthy looking skin Choose a healthy diets with a protein rich and a low Glycemic Index food (Fiber, tofu and vegetables) and eat more fruits rich in antioxidants (vitamin C and vitamin E) such as Goji Berry, Berry, Citrus and Oranges Make sure you have enough sleep at least 8 hours a day. Avoid sleep deprivation.

The aforementioned are few steps done to accomplish my face acne free for life and get a smooth and vibrant looking skin. These might takes a year or two to accomplish.

Recently I accidentally found a better option from one of the famous e-book: Chris Gibson acne free in 3 days. Though the title seemed to good to be true for those of us who suffers from severe acne and scars, however all the steps mentioned in these e-book make sense and easily to follow, at least within 3 days of practicing the steps you will see the difference on your skin.

Hopefully all the information in this article will help those who desperately seek a natural way to cure acne and be acne-free for the rest of life, get back the self-confidence that are lost due to severe acne and feel great about yourself and appearance. Stop hiding yourself behind make-up, hats or veil.

Keep Smiling, Feel Happy and Confident at all time!

How to Tackle Acne Successfully

Friday, October 16th, 2009
nunuram asked:

We all keep hearing about “acne” especially from women but do not really know about it. Let us find out what this condition actually is. Acne is a disease of the skin that affects  the hair and oil glands. It manifests itself in the form of pimples, black and white heads, reddishness of the skin and  even cysts. Acne on the face adversely affects your looks whereas acne on the body makes  you very uncomfortable. Some people tend not to give importance to acne or its cure/treatment and consider it only as a minor problem. But ask anybody suffering from acne and see how strongly he/she disagrees with this view. Therefore, the importance of ‘Acne skin care’ cannot be belittled in any way. Those already suffering from acne should never try to touch them or squeeze them; it can lead to permanent scars.

Acne problems mostly occur during teenage and early adulthood. At this time the skin glands are most active and they produce more sebum or oil which is the root cause of this problem. This is also the time when a person is particularly conscious about his/her looks and hence the concern especially about ****** acne. Hence, preventive measures of skin care should really be taken without waiting for the problem to start, i.e. before the acne actually appears. You have to be pro-active and the following care of your skin may be helpful:

‘Acne skin care’ starts with the most elementary thing - cleanliness. So the morning shower is the best and easiest way of keeping the skin clean. Night showers will also help. They not only help in keeping your skin clean but also provide relaxation to your body thereby enabling good sleep in the night. If you are living in a hot /humid/ dusty place, a night shower becomes essential. In fact, a shower is recommended after any activity that causes high levels of sweat formation. It is the natural and most effective ‘acne skin care’ technique.

Acne skin care also involves wearing clean clothes. Tight clothes can cause sweat to accumulate quickly; so soft, sweat absorbing and comfortable clothes are recommended. Cotton clothes are ideal in this regard. You must also always use clean pillows. And also ensure regular cleaning of your make-up brush and any equipment that you use on your body.

You should use a cleanser that must be water-soluble, and without oil and soap for keeping your whole face, front of your neck and arms clean. Above all, it must be mild. The most important part of any acne skin care routine is of course cleaning and cleansing. Cleaners are necessary for removing dirt, pollutants, grease and excess oil from your skin. You should remove your make up with a make up remover, and this should invariably be done before you go to bed .

There are many acne skin care products available which can be classified into 3 broad categories –

* General acne skin care products which are essentially preventive,

* Specialized acne skin care products available over-the-counter,

* Acne skin care products for which prescription is required.

 Now let us examine them.

The general acne preventive skin care products include cleansers, make-up removers and similar other products that help prevent acne. Actually speaking, these acne skin care products should be part of your daily routine. These acne skin care products act against the causes of acne viz. limiting the production of sebum/oil, preventing clogging of skin pores, cleaning the skin surface, etc. Actually, these products prevent the oil from getting trapped in pores and hence restrict the growth of acne causing bacteria. The general acne skin care products include exfoliation products also like skin peels which help in removing dead skin cells, again reducing the possibility of pore-clogging and bacteria development.

Then there are specialized acne skin care products that are available over-the-counter but without the requirement of a prescription.

For example, vanishing creams which extract the extra oil from the skin. These acne skin care products are mostly based on benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid; both are enemies of bacteria (and hence acne). Start with a product that has lower concentration of benzoyl peroxide (e.g. 5%) and observe how your skin responds to it. Alpha-hydroxy-acid based moisturizers are also well-known as acne skin care products. You may have to try out several products. This is a trial and error method. Each individual’s skin is different. The same product may be very effective for one person but totally ineffective or even harmful for another. So it may take some effort and time before you are able to zero-in on the acne skin care product that is effective for you.

Then there are the acne skin care products prescribed by a dermatologist. These include ointments that can be applied on the affected area or oral antibiotics or just any topical treatment. Dermatologist could also suggest a minor surgical procedure to remove the contents of the pustules. But never ever try to squeeze or do this by yourself, it can lead to permanent scars on your skin. Your doctor could also prescribe a hormone-based treatment since hormonal changes are also known to cause acne. If your problem is due to hormones, then this treatment will be very effective.

All these methods will help you in controlling the problem of acne. But there is another simpler method.Chronic Acne Sufferer Finds A Scientifically Proven Way To Permanently Clear Skin In Just Three Days, And Finally Reveals The Unbelievably Easy, Step-By-Step Actions You Could Already Be Taking To Look Better, Feel Better, And Have A Renewed Sense of Self-Esteem!For details, please go to:  http://nunus-behealthy.ucoz.com

4 Ways to Use Home Remedies for Acne

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009
Robert Godart asked:

Home remedies for acne are definitely beneficial to try. You have everything to gain by trying them. Home remedies for acne are varied. You can choose from a tangerine juice treatment, cabbage mask, orange tonic or a watermelon juice treatment. They are almost all topical, and according to the people who write about ways to cure acne with common kitchen ingredients, they are really effective.

Usually, the doctors suggest their patients, suffering from acne, to consume lot of water and do exercises, which keep the skin charming and glowing. Home remedies for acne are tried and tested solutions for acne and are able to cure your acne permanently.

Home remedies for acne are enhanced by proper vitamin and mineral supplementation and it cannot be numbered as there are lots of them. The first and foremost of all kinds of problems in an individuals body is due to lack of water.

Stress doesn’t cause acne, but can definitely make it worse. There does seem to be a genetic tendency involved - many people with acne find that family members have suffered from it as well. Stress can be a big factor in the types of hormones our body produces. And despite some dermatologists refusing to acknowledge a link, research published on CNN in 2002 found there was a correlation between stress and acne. Stress not only contributes to acne but also many other health problems. Be sure to reduce stress as much as possible. Stress is also responsible for the mess on our face along with dust, certain face creams and bromine contact. Acne appears due to an excessive sebum production by the sebaceous glands in our skin. This sebum is getting hard inside the face pores and will create visible comedowns.

Here there are some suggestions for acne treatment using home remedies:

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is an anti-viral as well as an anti-microbial, that can help cleanse you from the inside out. Aloe vera juice applied to acne is an effective treatment. It can also be taken internally. Along with all these home remedies, you may also practice the regimen. You must include vegetables and fruits in your diet.

Garlic

Garlic is a detoxifier, as well as an antiseptic. Taken orally it cleanses the body of toxins and excess hormones which can cause teenage and adult acne. Garlic is a valuable herb not only for treating acne scars but for number of skin diseases and allergies. It is considered a miracle herb in ayurveda and is used for removing acne scars more effectively than any other herb.

Garlic capsules not only enhance the immune system of the body but also act as a killing agent to acne causing bacteria that occur in sebaceous glands . Garlic capsules are another of the effective acne home remedies. These capsules are generally considered very potent acne home remedies, boosting the immune system, capable of eliminating the bacteria found in acne.

Papaya

Get the juice of raw papaya including the seed and skin and drink it! No it won’t give you a tummy upset but it’ll prevent pus formation, removes whiteheads and help reduce swelling due to acne. Natural ways to remove acne and even help with acne scars not only cost less, but as mentioned before they are earth friendly.

Cleansing Mask

A quick cleansing mask can be made by mixing 12 carton of natural yogurt, 1 tablespoon safflower oil and 12 tablespoon lemon oil. Leave it for about 15 minutes. Then wash the face with cold water.

Natural acne treatment is made from all-natural ingredients. This means that the only natural herbs, vitamins, fruits and minerals are used. Home remedies for acne treatment is one of the best ways to safely and effectively remove acne from the skin.

Avoid using home remedies to treat your acne scars when acne disease is still active. Avoid over-washing your face or using harsh astringents, though, as these can dry out and irritate the skin and make it even more acne-prone.

Connection Between Diet and Acne

Saturday, May 23rd, 2009
Alisia Friend asked:

With years of medical education and clinical experience behind these claims, how can we the simple folks who suffer from acne challenge these statements and think otherwise? The answer is: doubt. Doubt, if its stays in the borders of reason, can open many doors otherwise will stay forever shut. Believe it or not, doubt can change reality. Doubt can cure your acne and doubt can even save your life.

Fact is, countless of acne sufferers have reported that their acne seemed to get worse when they consumed certain foods and saw dramatic positive change over their acne condition when they eliminated the same foods from their diet and when certain foods with specific nutritional value were incorporated into their diet.

So why do dermatologists so stubbornly insist that diet does not cause acne? The answer: you can’t make as much money as you could make by selling drugs and over the counters. There is a huge pressure upon doctors coming from the drug and pharmaceutical companies to prescribe expensive medications and lotions that create dependency. The truth is, that your doctor is in a way, a hostage by the trillion dollar drug companies. Did you know that the drug companies, who have no interest in producing something that they cannot control financially, sponsor most medical schools?

The right diet, although not a solution by itself, can, in many cases, dramatically reduce inflammation and even completely clear one’s acne (if you’re one of the lucky ones who’s acne is triggered by allergic response to food). There are less profits for the drug and pharmaceutical companies when promoting a clear skin diet.

The truth is that conventional medications will never cure your acne, simply because they are pre-designed NOT to fix the internal cause of acne. They are pre-designed to deal with the external symptoms of a disease as they create more and more dependency and more dependency means making more money all at our expense and ignorance.

The Theory That Diet Doesn’t Cause Acne Is A Myth

The dogmatic theory that diet does not cause acne and that acne is merely an incurable genetic disorder was based upon two dated researches published in 1969 and 1971 that were aimed at studying the connection between diet and acne.

These studies were the foundation of the ‘acne symptoms treatment strategy’, meaning, because acne is a genetic disease that cannot be prevented, the only way to deal with acne would be to tackle its symptoms (bacteria, inflammation, puss, redness, greasiness), by applying creams, antibiotics, taking prescription drugs and over the counters.

Surprisingly enough, years after the above studies were published, clinical trials and in depth researches experimenting the acne diet link have found that the studies from 1969 and 1971 had came to the wrong conclusions and were in fact seriously flawed.

Recent studies have clearly found a significant connection between diet and acne. It appears that the wrong diet is now thought to be one of the leading acne contributing factors that can negatively affect hormonal regulation and the natural process of toxic elimination, which can seriously aggravate one’s existing acne.

Diet Shapes Who You Are (Including Your Acne)

In the same way that crashing waves shape beach cliffs and just like the wind shapes the canyon walls, slowly and methodically over time, so does eating shapes and effects our physic, our internal system, our physical and mental being, from the organ down to the cellular level.

The idea that an object foreign to our body that is inserted by the food that we eat, has no effect on us, or has no impact on chronic conditions such as acne is absurd. Diet is the primary thing that affects and shapes who we are.

Diet has cumulative effect on our bodies, and that includes our skin condition and acne, which is a manifestation of a chronic internal problem slowly shaped and built by the wrong daily dietary choices over the years.

Acne Diet and The Kitavan Islanders

While in the U.S, more than 80% of teenagers between 16 and 18 have acne and more than 17 million Americans suffer from some form of acne, there is an interesting evidence that native people that live and eat in traditional ways, have significantly lower to no occurrences of acne.

In 2002, Dr. Cordain and his colleagues published a landmark study that examined 300 people living in the Kitavan Islands off the coast of Papua New Guinea that showed that none of the islanders had even one blemish on his or her face. Similar to the Kitavans, no case of acne had been observed when the same experiment had been conducted upon the South American Indians called the Ache, living in a remote jungle in eastern Paraguay.

The natives of Kitavan and the South American Indians had no access to the latest over the counters, topical creams or conventional acne medications and they had no dermatologist to consult with. The only vast difference between them and American or European citizens is their diet.

Acne Diet and Sugar: The Sweet Poison

Did you know that sugar is a 100% pure chemical with zero nutritional value? Recent studies have clearly shown a connection between the consumption of sugar and the aggravation of acne.

When you consume any form of refined carbohydrates (white sugar, white flour, white rice) here’s what happens: right after you insert that ’sweet poison’ into your body, it rapidly spikes up your blood sugar levels. Your body needs to bring those levels down so it secrets a surge of insulin, other male hormones and an insulin-like growth factor called IGF-1. The excretion of these hormones overwhelms your liver and your internal system in general. The excess of male hormones encourages the skin to excrete large amounts of sebum oil: The greasy substance that encourages the p.acne bacteria to grow, resulting in the aggravation of your acne.

Acne Diet and Dairy Products: Got Milk? Got Acne

Milk (all dairy products included) is the most harmful, mucus forming, allergenic and acne aggravating food you can find. If you thought sugar can aggravate your acne, here’s another major nutritional player in the formation of acne: behold the miracles of milk. Surprised? I thought so. After years of constant brainwashing by the media, who can blame us for thinking milk is good for strong bones and healthy teeth? The truth is: every sip of milk contains 59 different raging hormones, (which trigger the hyper-production of sebum oil resulting in more acne), saturated animal fat, steroid hormones, dead white blood cells, and cow pus in abundance!

Did you know that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) allows 750 million pus cells in every liter of milk (about two pounds) produced in America? Think about it, the next time you pop a pimple.

Scientific studies already point the finger at milk as one of the worst acne aggravating foods: “As pointed out by Dr. Jerome Fisher, ‘About 80 percent of cows that are giving milk are pregnant and are throwing off hormones continuously.’ Progesterone breaks down into androgens, which have been implicated as a factor in the development of acne…Dr. Fisher observed that his teenage acne patients improved as soon as the milk drinking stopped.”

If there’s one element you should remove from your diet in the quest for clear skin make it this one. Not only will you see an immediate improvement over your acne, you’ll feel a huge weight has been lifted from your body. If you worry about calcium intake, don’t! Milk being acidic forming food creates a leeching effect where calcium is taken from your bones to balance the acidity. Milk actually deprives your body from its calcium resources. Green leafy vegetables, nuts and seeds are not only excellent sources of calcium they also have the powers to help you fight your acne symptoms.

Diet Is Only One of The Factors That Cause Acne

Dairy products and sugar are not the only acne aggravating foods. The two above cannot sum up the list of western made acne triggering foods. There are several other foods you should clearly stay away from if you ever wish to clear your acne. The good new is that there are tons of other foods such as essential fatty acids that are not only excellent for your skin, they can actually help you clear your acne, by re-balancing your body and promoting to an acne-free environment.

The right nutrition plays an important part in the complex process of acne formation. When doctors claim there is no link between diet and acne because certain individuals can eat specific foods and get acne while others eat the same foods and don’t, these doctors have failed to realize that there are several factors involved in the formation and aggravation of acne and diet is only ONE of them.

The Final Verdict On The Acne Diet Connection: How To Finally Overcome Your Acne Challenge

Acne is a complex condition that is triggered by several underlying factors. The only way to neutralize your acne condition is to tackle all these acne-contributing factors-holistically. Since the wrong diet is only one of these acne-triggering factors, in most cases no special diet can cure acne.

There is a however, a tight connection between diet and acne formation. Dietary factors can trigger and aggravate your existing acne. Avoiding the wrong foods such as milk, sugar and hydrogenated oils, and eating cleansing and hormonal balancing foods such as green leafy vegetables and essential fatty acids, can help your skin heal itself from the inside out and dramatically reduce your acne symptoms.

There are also several important dietary principals that you must understand and follow if you ever want to cure your acne for good.

Taking responsibility over your body and adhering to these dietary principals along with taking the necessary steps to tackle all acne contributing factors, holistically, will not only cure your acne permanently and give you the flawless acne free skin you deserve, following these principals will also significantly improve your overall health, mental well-being, look and feel.

Acne Pills – How Effective are They in Combating Acne

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009
Tim Orlando asked:

For a large number of teenagers and young adults, acne is more than a skin disorder; it is a very painful condition that usually affects the social life of such individuals. With the obsession of the media on physical appearance, many teenagers and young adults get frustrated feeling that they can not be as attractive as the models, actors, and singers they see on television. This is chiefly due to the outbreak of acne pimples on their skins.

If your acne condition is termed as “mild” meaning that you only get a little amount of pimples on your face, then it seems the best treatment for you would be a topical medication which is usually referred to as an over the counter acne treatment. There are quite a number of over the counter products to choose from as they come in various forms like: creams, ointments, soaps and ****** pads.

Topical medications usually contain the same active ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide and salicylic aid. These ingredients work by killing bacteria on the affected areas of your skin or by peeling a very thin layer of your skin, which opens up your previously blocked hair pores. When you use such products daily, it cleanses your skin and prevents dryness. These ingredients have the after-effect of providing a thin protective layer on the surface of your skin. This helps in protecting your skin against bacterial infections, healing existing pimples, refreshing complexion, purifying pores, drying up and preventing new pimples. These ingredients are very effective in combating mild to moderate acne problem.

Most dermatologist and doctors tend to recommend the use of products that contain benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid for combating acne. Although these products are effective in combating some forms of the skin problem, they are not enough for severe sufferers or some certain types like cystic acne.

If you’re a teenager or a young adult and you’re afflicted with a severe form of acne, I guessed you must have tried some creams, lotions or gels that have only slightly improved your condition. Since one of the main causes of your skin problem is due to over-active hormones, it is only logical for dermatologist and doctors to prescribe acne pills which work on the inside of the body in an attempt to correct hormonal and chemical imbalances in your body system. In case you are afflicted with Cystic acne, it is certain that you have over-active hormones, which is definitely one of the root causes of the problem.

The most common acne pills prescribed by doctors are accutane, and antibiotics like tetracycline, clindamycin, and erythromycin. Although topical forms of these antibiotics are available, a large number of doctors and dermatologist tend to prescribe the oral form. They work in killing the bacteria that contribute in the formation of pimples. But the downside of most antibiotics is that with time the bacterium on the skin develops resistance to it.

Another category of acne pills used in treatment is the hormonal treatment, which are effective in women. Cortisone, Cyproterone and drospirenone work at decreasing the excessive amount of oil produced in the hair pores.

Accutane as previously mentioned is also an acne pill that doctors prescribed in treating severe cases of acne. A large number of sufferers have found relief from their breakouts while using accutane. Accutane simply reduces the amount of oil produced by your skin. One major risk of taking accutane pills is the harmful effects it has on pregnant women and nursing mothers, which is in the form of birth defects.

So Is There Any Oral Medication For Acne Without Side Effects?

With all the following pills mentioned which seem to have one downside or the other, most sufferers would wonder if there actually were a magical pill, which could improve their condition. If you suffer from acne it would interest you to know that there are quite a number of pills in the market, which combat the root causes of your problem – which is usually due to chemical and hormonal imbalances. These acne pills contain antioxidants and herbal extracts which helps in eliminating the free radicals that are dangerous to your skin and promote infections. They also fight inflammation to reduce the redness you see on your skin and heal damaged skin.

Although using the acne pills found in the acnezine and clear-pores systems would give you improvement on your skin texture and prevent formation of new zits. However these systems take no chances by also providing an external “topical” medication, which cleanses the hair pores and fights acne-causing bacteria. In order words these systems combat the problem from the inside and the outside of your body.

If you suffer from a severe case of acne then I will certain ask you to take action by ridding your skin of pimples by using a quality skin care product that fights the problem at its roots and also on the skin. One benefits of using an internal and external treatment is that your pimples problem would be gone in the shortest possible time, as you do no have to wait long periods to begin seeing relief.

A product like the acnezine skin care system was what I used in erasing pimples off my face, it contains a moisturizing cream and a Skin Anti-Oxidant Capsule, which ensures that your skin texture improves. An excellent skin care system on the market, which is by far the number one acne system, is the clear pores system. It is capable of combating both body and ****** acne. It consists of a deep cleansing facial/body wash, facial/body protection cream and an herbal supplement. This system is very effective for severe sufferers as it ensures total acne treatment. The healthy pores system is also a very good skin care product that has solved the problem of acne pimples for a large number of former sufferers.
